Increasing Concern for the Tambak Lorok Community in Semarang during the Covid-19 Pandemic Through the Love for the Environment and Social Service Campaign

DPT, SEMARANG – On July 3, 2021, in order to increase public awareness of the environment in Kampung Bahari Tambak Lorok, Semarang City, the Capture Fisheries Department Service Team, FPIK (Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences), Diponegoro University held community service activities that consisting of Dr. Abdul Kohar Mudzakir, S.Pi., M.Sc., Bogi Budi Jayanto, S.Pi., M.Sc., and Ir. Imam Triarso, M.S.

This community service activity received a grant from the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences in 2021. Activities carried out were in the form of counseling to increase awareness of the coastal environment, and installing banners for environmental love. In addition, the Service Team distributed a total of 20 food packages for Tambak Lorok fishermen who were affected during the Covid19 pandemic. There were about 20 participants in the service activities and responded well to the counseling activities carried out. (admin)
